Ahh, that famous question: “Can’t you just Photoshop that?” I call it “The Photoshop Fairy”. While some things are easy to do in Photoshop, some that are seemingly simple are more complex. In the Christmas tree photo we removed the power cord. You can’t just lift up the tape and expose the floor beneath. It had to be re-constructed. This represents probably about 3-4 hours of work. There are still a couple of things noticeable from the old, but only when actually comparing.
Light poles are a common target for the Photoshop disappearing act. In the Transylvania County Public Safety Building photo, we removed several light poles and some power lines in the background, all at the request of the architect.
